Where the story

Of Elling began

The story of Elling Yachts began with the Elling E3. Designed to combine compact dimensions with exceptional comfort, safety and seaworthiness, the E3 laid the foundation for the brand’s philosophy: creating yachts that offer true ocean-going capability without compromising on luxury and ease of handling. A compact yacht with an ambitious spirit, the E3 set the course for everything that followed.

As tough as

A lifeboat

The E3 sets new standards for safety and luxury. Built from Kevlar, it meets the CE Category A (Ocean) standard. It’s as tough as a lifeboat! Life at sea is unpredictable, but the E3 is ready for any challenge. Elling boats are built to keep your family safe in any conditions.

From Rotterdam

To the Azores

At 7.5 knots, fuel consumption is 1 litre per nautical mile. This gives a range of 1500 nautical miles. That’s enough for a trip from Rotterdam to the Azores or New York to the Bahamas. At 16 knots in semi-displacement mode, fuel consumption is 3.8 litres per nautical mile. The range is 400 nautical miles.

Air draft

With a few quick manual steps the mast lowers to an air draft of 3.45 metres. Navigate the French canals or the inland waterways of the USA with ease. Double glazing, central heating and air conditioning ensure comfort in every part of the world.

With our Elling E3 I have always felt safe. No matter the conditions I could always rely on our yacht.

“What impresses us most about the Elling E3 is how much she offers within her compact length. She feels remarkably spacious and comfortable, yet has the strength, stability and seaworthiness to take on offshore and ocean passages with confidence. For us, it’s the perfect balance between compact size and true ocean-going capability.”
